A delegation from Erasmus University Medical Centre comprising of seven researchers from virology and infectious diseases visited New Delhi from the 1st to 3rd of February, 2016. The delegation was led by Prof. Jaap Verweij, Dean and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Erasmus MC, who is a renowned international expert in oncology.

Realizing the need to stay on top of developments in India, the Dutch ambassador to India, Alphonsus Stoelinga, has initiated a trade mission to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to take place 28-30 October. The delegation, consisting of around 30 Dutch companies, will meet with high officials of both states to discuss the possibility of cooperation in the areas of ports and maritime, water management, logistics and infrastructure, agro and food processing and pharma and healthcare.
