PRESS AND CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

The Press and Cultural Affairs department provides information on The Netherlands (particularly culture and the arts), handles matters related to the Indian and Dutch media, and gives information on (higher) education and opportunities to study in The Netherlands (e.g. availability of Fellowships through The Netherlands Fellowship Programme of the Netherlands Organisation for Higher Education (NUFFIC). Externe link Click here for more information about studying in The Netherlands.

The department is also active in looking for ways to preserve the shared cultural Heritage of The Netherlands and India. These are mainly historical monuments, archives, artefacts, mostly dating from the time of the Dutch East India Company, the “Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie” - VOC.

This section of the website provides you with an introduction in a number of key elements of Dutch culture, with links to the most important and informative websites. If, after reading the information, you still have questions, please contact us:  nde-pcz@minbuza.nl.
